i think that using those abbreviations while txting is a great way of saving time and space, You should already know that there is a certain time and place you should be abbreviating and those who dont understand should just stick with the long route and type out everything.

iThink it's dumb to say that yu don't know if yu can use n-i-t-e for night, and t-h-r-u for through. iThink yu can do that definitely because text messaging only allows so many words, so if yu type too many words, and to get your point across, yu have to abbreviate, then do that . There's nothing wrong with that.

I am one of the only teenagers in America who does not text very often. I do so when calling would be inappropriate or when there the message is short and to the point, but I prefer talking to them. Anyway, this is yet another podcast I enjoyed from you! I was expecting you to scold people for not using standard grammar in every possible situation, but then I remembered that you're somewhat lax and definitely not butt-tight and unreasonable. Everything has a time and place---including (in)formality. Thanks for another great one =)

texting is a wonderful thing. i feel like it makes long sentences shorter. and this helps because when you text, you dont need to write a whole bio on what you are doing. and it is for teens only anyway so of course adults arnt gonna like it cause hlf of them cant text anyways...so whatever...texin has changed my life and its helpful for me.

I refuse to use cartoon spellings. I don't even write "plow"—preferring "plough. American english has been raped of character quite enough as it is, knocking u's and o's out of words like "honour" and "diarrhoea".

BTW: hi; i'm a weirdo. ;)
