I am English, which causes a few linguistic problems whenever I am in the States. Years ago, when the family was living in Houston, one of the children came home from school with a list of homophones. It included bullion v bouillon.
Now, we live about twenty miles, by sea, from the country which originated bouillon, and I have puzzled for a long time just how these two words, "bweeyon" amd "bulleeun", could possibly be homophones.

I was reading an article once, about how GPS works. The article mentioned that the master clock was maintained by the "U.S. Navel Observatory" in Washington.

Hmmmmm. Pretty good work, I wonder if they're hiring?

This episode needs the "Don´t listen to this at work" tag. It was the first thing on my iP*d this morning and I got some strange looks from coworkers.

In my family it is the chocolate mouse, but I can see that a chocolate moose is preferable.
