      <description>Although I'm in the (US) EST zone I found it interesting that there was no mention of other countries using the 24 hour clock to avoid confusion. Thus 6:00 PM is 18:00. Also if there is confusion about time zones, some folks such as scientist and ham radio operators use GMT or the newer designation of UTC (Universal Coordinated Time). Why UTC? It's a French acroynm...</description>

      <description>There's something else I would like to point out. During standard time (in the winter), you write EST, PST, etc. During daylight-saving time (in summer), you use EDT, PDT, etc.</description>
